"Barbarian" is a negative term for an uncivilized, uncultured person, either in a general reference to a member of a specific nation, like that of the the various Germanic tribes, the settled Gauls, or the raiding Huns, perceived as having an inferior level of civilization, or the term was defined as an individual reference to a brutal, cruel, insensitive person whose behavior is unacceptable in the society of the speaker. However, another popular idea for "Barbarian" is often associated within heroic fantasy, like that of the characters Conan the Barbarian, Kothar, and to a lesser extent, Fahfrd.


Barbarians are nomadic, who like to wander the lands for adventures, to carve their own destinies with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth.


Barbarians are combatants. Plain and simple. From weapon masters to berserkers. Their motives can range from defense and protection to revenge and fury, however you will never find a barbarian sulking somewhere in a corner. If he has a problem, he will come forward and address it.
