The major purpose for sword care is to make sure the blade does not oxide or rust. Kit includes brass awl/hammer to easily dismantle the sword, rice papers for cleaning oil from the blade, extra large uchiko powder ball, bottle of chojil oil to prevent rusting, plastic container to store an oiled cloth, and a parchment certificate/care sheet.
